My 92-year old mother was prescsribed this drug because of a glaucoma diagnosis. She had what was called "low tension" glaucoma, meaning her eye pressure readings were normal, but there was still deterioration in the optic nerve. She has been using this for nine months now, and the doctor has been very pleased that the medication has been keeping the glaucoma from progressing. She puts one drop in each eye every night. The only "complaint" is that it is very expensive, but that really is a small price to pay for helping keep your eyesight.
