I was prescribed Diovan HCT after the previous blood pressure medication did not sufficiently reduce my blood pressure. I saw a big improvement within about 3 weeks of starting Diovan. One side effect included feeling tired, but this went away after about 3 weeks.

I had been without Insurance for sometime and when I finally was able to see a doctor I discovered my blood pressure was much too high. Within the first two weeks there was a significant drop in my blood pressure, combined with a better diet my high blood pressure was brought under control. For the first month or so I did experience occasional bouts of severe abdominal pain but with continued use the side affects dissipated.
